(get neg nos.) 16: A convention banquet held no terrors for Samuel F. Binns, of Boston, who eats 'by the clock'. He knows that the meat on his plate is at the center of the imaginary 'clock dial'. At 11 o'clock is roll and butter. At 1 o'clock salad and water. At 3 o'clock, he has been told, are potatoes on his plate, and further out a cup of coffee".
