Abstract: Total mass collected at an average interval of 38 days in a BSNE collector in Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia (53.79ºS, 67.75ºW). Bulk grain size distributions for selected samples were also measured. The purpose of these measurements was to obtain horizontal surface (i.e., 5 meters above ground level) dust mass flux close to dust-emitting surfaces in southernmost Patagonia, as well as parameters to model individual dust events.

摘要:本研究在位于巴塔哥尼亚火地岛里奥格兰德(南纬53.79°,西经67.75°)的BSNE采样器(BSNE collector)中,以平均38天的间隔收集总沙尘质量,并对选定样品的整体粒度分布(grain size distributions)进行了测定。本次测量的目的为获取巴塔哥尼亚最南端近沙尘源地表处离地5米高度的水平沙尘质量通量(dust mass flux),以及用于模拟单次沙尘事件的相关参数。
