资源简介:
We assessed the influence of maternal Heligmosomoides bakeri infection on spatial memory of adult male and female uninfected offspring using the Barnes Maze Test. Outbred CD-1 mice were repeatedly infected with Heligmosomoides bakeri (i.e. Treatment) or sham-infected (i.e. Control) during pregnancy and lactation. Three-month old adult offspring from 15 uninfected and 16 H. bakeri infected dams were used. One male and one female offspring was used per litter. The manuscript, titled "Maternal Gastrointestinal Nematode Infection Enhances Spatial Memory and Reduces Indicators of Anxiety-Like Behaviour in Uninfected Adult Female Mouse Offspring" has been accepted for publication by Parasitology on 23 May 2024. Authors: Sophia C. Noel, Ryan LaFrancois and Marilyn E. Scott. The dataset attached here is the raw data for this study.
