The impact of Internet of Things-enhanced augmented reality on interpretive outcomes for cultural heritage: A comparative study of Southern Dynasties stone carvings

This dataset supports the findings of the study "The impact of Internet of Things-enhanced augmented reality on interpretive outcomes for cultural heritage: A comparative study of Southern Dynasties stone carvings." The dataset includes: Quantitative data from 80 participants (40 control, 40 experimental), including pre-test scores, post-test scores, IPQ, IMI, PR, and manipulation check measures. Pre-test knowledge assessment instrument. Post-test knowledge assessment instrument. Post-test experience questionnaire (interaction properties, presence, personal relevance, intrinsic motivation). All data have been anonymized. No personally identifiable information is included. The study was approved by the Ethics Review Committee of the School of Arts, Jiangsu University (Ethics No. 2025YSMI06-003A). Written informed consent was obtained from all participants.
