Spatial dataset of 30m resolution seawater quality in Bohai Sea from 2017 to 2023

The monitoring information data of seawater quality is the basic data for studying the status of the marine environment. This article is based on the Bohai Sea seawater quality monitoring data from 2017 to 2023 released by the official website of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China's seawater quality monitoring information disclosure system. Using methods such as data organization, data conversion, spatial interpolation, and data verification, a 30m resolution seawater quality spatial dataset was created for the Bohai Sea from 2017 to 2023. The dataset includes 7 point wise seawater quality monitoring vector data (. gdb) and 7 30m resolution raster layers (. tif). The vector data includes sea areas, provinces, cities, point codes, measured longitude, measured latitude, monitoring time, pH (dimensionless), dissolved oxygen (mg/L), chemical oxygen demand (mg/L), inorganic salts (mg/L), active phosphates (mg/L), petroleum products (mg/L), and water quality. There are 16 field information including category, and the raster data contains 5 field information including object identifier, value, number of grids, water quality type, area, etc. This dataset can provide data support for the spatiotemporal distribution and improvement of seawater quality in the Bohai Sea. This data has characteristics such as high spatial resolution, large time span, and strong continuity.
