RNA-sequencing of LNCaP prostate cancer cells with and without treatment of enzalutamide

LNCaP prostate cancer cells were stimulated with the synthetic androgen R1881. RNA-sequencing was performed to identify changes induced by enzalutamide treatment on the transcriptome level. Overall design: Prostate androgen-sensitive cell lines LNCaP were grown for two days in starvation medium prior to treatment with synthetic androgen R1881 at a concentration of 1 nM or R1881 with enzalutamide at a concentration of 2 µM. The cells were harvested 22 h post-induction for RNA isolation and sequencing.
