中国旧石器时代遗址地质环境数据库

中国古人类化石及文化遗存资源丰富，对古人类和旧石器遗址进行环境数据采集、分析和整合，可以为古人类和旧石器考古研究建立初步的数据平台。课题通过搜集整理已发表文献中的数据，初步建立了一个基于GIS的中国古人类遗址环境数据库，旨在为探索东亚古人类起源、演化过程和环境背景，研究古人类的迁徙和变异，探讨现代中国人的来源和中华民族与文化的形成过程等科学问题提供原始证据。现包含中国境内遗址1120处，古人类遗址点的地理数据采用数字化地图作为底图，并和全球SRTM数字高程数据相关联。重点关注我国境内古人类遗址的地质地理信息、年代学和古环境信息。

China boasts abundant paleoanthropological fossil and cultural relic resources. Conducting environmental data collection, analysis and integration for paleoanthropological and Paleolithic sites can establish a preliminary data platform for paleoanthropological and Paleolithic archaeological research. This study, by collecting and organizing data from published literature, has preliminarily developed a GIS-based environmental database of Chinese paleoanthropological sites, which aims to provide original empirical evidence for scientific inquiries including exploring the origin, evolutionary trajectory and environmental context of East Asian ancient humans, investigating the migration and variation of ancient humans, and discussing the origin of modern Chinese populations as well as the formation of the Chinese nation and its culture, and other relevant scientific questions. At present, the database includes 1,120 sites across China. The geographic data of these paleoanthropological site locations uses digital maps as the base layer, and is correlated with global SRTM digital elevation data. The database focuses on the geological and geographic information, chronology and paleoenvironmental information of paleoanthropological sites within China.
