A dataset for several samples visually interpreted from the very high-resolution images from Google Earth for rice mapping research in China.The file format is GeoParquet, and the geometries are Polygons, which contain three fields: covertype, region, and year, which represent the covertype code, the name of the provincial administrative region, and the year of the polygon, respectively. The meanings of the covertype codes are as follows:0: non-cropland (natural vegetation, built-up areas, water bodies...)1: single-season rice (certain)2: double-season rice (certain)3: rice (uncertain whether it is single- or double-season rice)4: other crops (maize, soybean, peanut...)5: non-rice (maize, soybean, peanut, natural vegetation, built-up areas, water bodies...)本数据集面向中国水稻制图研究，包含从谷歌地球（Google Earth）超高分辨率影像中目视解译得到的若干样本。数据集文件格式为GeoParquet，几何类型为多边形（Polygons），共包含三个字段：covertype（地物类型编码）、region（省级行政区名称）以及year（多边形对应年份）。各地物类型编码的含义如下：0：非耕地（含自然植被、建成区、水体等）；1：单季水稻（确定类型）；2：双季水稻（确定类型）；3：水稻（无法确定单/双季属性）；4：其他作物（如玉米、大豆、花生等）；5：非水稻类地物（含玉米、大豆、花生、自然植被、建成区、水体等）
