Hedopeptolide, a NO Production Inhibitor from the Marine Cyanobacterium Okeania sp.

A novel 19-membered cyclic depsipeptide, hedopeptolide (1), was isolated from Okeania sp., a marine cyanobacterium collected in Okinawa, Japan. Its gross structure was determined by spectroscopic analyses, and the absolute configuration of the chiral centers was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis following crystallization. Hedopeptolide (1) inhibited the lipopolysaccharide-induced nitric oxide production in RAW264.7 cells.从日本冲绳海域采集的海洋蓝细菌Okeania属（Okeania sp.）菌株中，分离得到一种新型19元环酯肽（cyclic depsipeptide）——海肽内酯（hedopeptolide，1）。其平面结构通过光谱分析得以确定，所有手性中心的绝对构型则通过结晶后的单晶X射线衍射分析（single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis）得以明确。海肽内酯（1）可抑制脂多糖（lipopolysaccharide，LPS）诱导的RAW264.7细胞一氧化氮生成。
