This study mainly focuses on insect -plant interaction. In this quest whole body transcriptome of S. frugiperda is used to predict the insilco secretome. Few effector candidates from the predicted secretome have been reported after conducting the insect -plant infestation experiment. The secretome predicted will serve as a repertoire for the identification of potential effector candidates for future studies.
