Artist Statement (Raquel "Rocky" Ormsby Olivares): Created as an homage to the sheep-wool used to create yarn and eventually is weaved, knitted--and in this case, crocheted to create clothing. This sheep depicted is a Navajo Churro sheep, sacred to the Dine.
