Climate Futures for Tasmania: output of the 6 km resolution simulation of the Cubic Conformal Atmospheric Model (CCAM) over Tasmania, using the CSIRO Mk3.5 model and the IPCC A2 scenario

Output of downscaling the CSIRO Mk3.5 General Circulation Model (GCM) simulation with the A2 SRES emissions scenario using the Cubic Conformal Atmospheric Model (CCAM). The configuration of CCAM used is 96x96 cells per face, with the high resolution face centered over Tasmania. The model takes the Ssea surface temperatures output from NCEP reanalysis 2 as boundary conditions into CCAM and uses spectral diffusion from the 60km version of CCAM run in conjunction with this model. This configuration provides an approximate resolution of 6km in the high resolution face.
The output is processed on to a 0.05 degree grid covering the region 142 to 150 degrees East and 38 to 45 degrees South, encompassing mainland Tasmania, Flinders and King Island.
Data is output 6 hourly and includes all CCAM variables among which: air temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, runoff, soil moisture, cloud coverage, radiation, evaporation and wind speed. The modelling output covers the time period 01/01/1961 up to 31/12/2100.
The GCM data used as forcing was downloaded from The Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison (PCMDI).

本数据集为采用立方共形大气模式（Cubic Conformal Atmospheric Model, CCAM），对采用A2特别报告排放情景（Special Report on Emissions Scenarios, SRES）的CSIRO Mk3.5通用大气环流模式（General Circulation Model, GCM）模拟结果进行降尺度后的输出。本次所用CCAM配置为每个面包含96×96个网格单元，高分辨率面以塔斯马尼亚为中心。该模式以美国国家环境预报中心再分析资料第2版（NCEP Reanalysis 2）输出的海表温度作为边界条件输入CCAM，并结合本次模拟调用CCAM 60公里版本的谱扩散方案。此配置在高分辨率面的近似分辨率为6公里。输出数据被重映射至覆盖东经142°至150°、南纬38°至45°区域的0.05度网格，该区域涵盖塔斯马尼亚主岛、弗林德斯岛与金岛。数据以6小时间隔输出，包含CCAM的全部变量，其中包括：气温、相对湿度、降水量、径流量、土壤湿度、云量、辐射量、蒸发量与风速。本次模拟输出的时间范围为1961年1月1日至2100年12月31日。用作强迫场的GCM数据下载自气候模式诊断与比较计划（Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison, PCMDI）。
