Selection of materials and micropollutants

The selected micropollutants are diclofenac (DCF), carbamazepine (CBZ), ibuprofen (IBP) and para-chlorobenzoic acid (pCBA). The nanoparticles chosen are: α-Al2O3, γ-Al2O3, Mn2O3, CeO2, and TiO2. Additionally, CeTiOx was synthesized. Information on the nanoparticles’ composition as well as UV-Vis spectrum and calibration curves of the micropollutants are given. The qualification and quantification of the micropollutants were performed by high-performance liquid chromatography in reversed-phase using a liquid chromatography instrument (HPLC-UV Agilent 1200) and a C18 column (Microsorb-MV 100–5 250 × 4.6 mm) at a working temperature of 30 °C.
