Words of researchers

The Region has proposed to high school students in Île-de-France a program called “Words of Researchers”: 100 interventions by Parisian scientists in 100 high schools, to share the diversity of research professions and scientific careers at university or in companies. Initially, the researcher recounts the birth of her vocation, explains what her job consists of, what her daily activity is, the methodology she implements, her vision of research issues vis-à-vis society. In a second step, the researcher proposes a more pedagogical sequence, around the “businesses of tomorrow”. Interventions took place over 2 school years, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. The programme was implemented by the ESFR Circle. The dataset presented lists all interventions carried out between September 2020 and June 2022: * year of intervention * surname, first name, laboratory of the researcher * Academy, ID (UAI), name, type and address of the high school * number of students present法兰西岛大区面向当地高中生推出了一项名为‘科研工作者之声（Words of Researchers）’的项目：由巴黎的科研人员在100所高中开展100场宣讲活动，旨在分享大学与企业中科研职业的多元形态及科学事业的发展路径。 活动第一阶段，科研人员将讲述自身职业初心的萌生历程，阐释自身工作的具体内涵、日常实践内容、所采用的研究方法，以及其对科研议题与社会关系的见解。第二阶段则设置了更具教学导向的主题环节，围绕‘未来产业’展开相关分享。 本次宣讲活动横跨2020-2021与2021-2022两个学年，由ESFR Circle负责实施。 本次公开的数据集收录了2020年9月至2022年6月期间开展的全部宣讲活动信息，具体字段如下： * 活动所属学年 * 科研人员的姓名、所属实验室 * 高中所属学区、院校标识码（UAI）、名称、办学类型与通讯地址 * 到场学生人数
