The AutoChart dataset consists of linearized basic chart data tables and their corresponding summaries, aiming to facilitate research on chart analysis and description. Created by Zhu et al. in 2021, this dataset provides a framework for automatically generating charts and their analytical descriptions, and demonstrates that the generated descriptions are diverse, coherent, and relevant to their corresponding charts. Both the dataset and its summaries are in English. The dataset is divided into training, validation, and test sets, containing 23336, 1297, and 1296 samples respectively.
