ASPEX-STEPS data during the Earth-bound (11-18 September 2023) orbits of Aditya-L1
收藏资源简介:
Energetic ion data measured by ASPEX-STEPS instrument on board Aditya-L1 and the statevectors during 11-18 September 2023 are provided. The datafiles with naming convention "AL1_SCL1A_AST_merged_flux_YYYYMMDD" contain ion counts per second corresponding to 256 ADC channels for all the detector units of ASPEX-STEPS instrument. The temporal resolution of these data is 1 minute. These files contain the information of detector geometric factors and integration times also. Reader can easily convert these counts per second to differential directional fluxes in the unit of particles/(cm^2-s-sr-MeV). Please refer to Goyal, Shiv Kumar, Neeraj Kumar Tiwari, Arpit R. Patel, M. Shanmugam, Santosh V. Vadawale, Dibyendu Chakrabarty, Jacob Sebastian et al. "Aditya solar wind particle experiment on board Aditya–L1: the supra-thermal and energetic particle spectrometer." Solar Physics 300, no. 3 (2025): 35 for details of ASPEX-STEPS instrument and operation. On the other hand, datafiles with naming convention "AL1_SV_AST_merged_averaged_YYYYMMDD" contain directions of the detector units and spacecraft ephemeris. The temporal resolution in these files is also 1 minute.
