Standing above ground biomass (AGB) for the 1 hectare plot was calculated based on measurements taken in 2013. Measurements included the DBH (cm), height (m) and wood density (g/cm³) for stems ≥10 cm DBH. Allometry for estimates of AGB (kg) were based on: Chen X. (2002) Carbon balance of a eucalypt open forest savanna of Northern Australia, PhD Thesis, Charles Darwin University, Darwin, NT. Williams R.J., Zerihun A., Montagu K., Hoffman M., Hutley L.B., Chen X. (2005) Allometry for estimating aboveground tree biomass in tropical and subtropical eucalypt woodlands: towards general predictive equations. Australian Journal of Botany 53: 607-619.

基于2013年的野外实测数据,计算得到1公顷样地的现存地上生物量(aboveground biomass, AGB)。本次测量的指标包括胸径(DBH,单位:cm)、树高(单位:m)以及木材密度(单位:g/cm³),测量对象为胸径≥10 cm的树木茎干。用于估算地上生物量(单位:kg)的异速生长方程基于以下两篇学术文献:Chen X.(2002)《澳大利亚北部桉属开阔林稀树草原的碳平衡》,博士学位论文,查尔斯达尔文大学,北领地达尔文市;Williams R.J., Zerihun A., Montagu K., Hoffman M., Hutley L.B., Chen X.(2005)《热带与亚热带桉属林地树木地上生物量估算的异速生长模型:构建通用预测方程》,《澳大利亚植物学杂志》53卷:607-619。
