Vegetation Above Ground Biomass, Litchfield Savanna SuperSite, Tower Plot, 2013

Standing above ground biomass (AGB) for the 1 hectare plot was calculated based on measurements taken in 2013. Measurements included the DBH (cm), height (m) and wood density (g/cm³) for stems ≥10 cm DBH. Allometry for estimates of AGB (kg) were based on: Chen X. 基于2013年的野外实测数据，计算得到1公顷样地的现存地上生物量（aboveground biomass, AGB）。本次测量的指标包括胸径（DBH，单位：cm）、树高（单位：m）以及木材密度（单位：g/cm³），测量对象为胸径≥10 cm的树木茎干。用于估算地上生物量（单位：kg）的异速生长方程基于以下两篇学术文献：Chen X.（2002）《澳大利亚北部桉属开阔林稀树草原的碳平衡》，博士学位论文，查尔斯达尔文大学，北领地达尔文市；Williams R.J., Zerihun A., Montagu K., Hoffman M., Hutley L.B., Chen X.（2005）《热带与亚热带桉属林地树木地上生物量估算的异速生长模型：构建通用预测方程》，《澳大利亚植物学杂志》53卷：607-619。
