Catalyst Characterization MethodsChemisorption behaviors of CH₄ and CO₂ were evaluated via TPD using an AMI-300 system. The local coordination environment and surface electronic states were investigated using XAFS at the SSRF (BL14W1) and XPS (VG Multilab 2000), respectively. Carbon deposition on spent catalysts was characterized by Raman spectroscopy (Thermo Scientific DXR2 XI) and thermogravimetric analysis (TA Instruments Q600 SDT) in an air atmosphere. Additionally, in situ DRIFTS measurements were conducted using a Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50 spectrometer to monitor surface species evolution during both gas adsorption and the DRM reaction at 350 °C.
