The grain amaranth (Amaranthus hypochondriacus) NAC genes data set (gene including promoter region, CDS and protein)

This study identified 70 NAC genes (<i>AhypNAC</i>) in <i>Amaranthus hypochondriacus</i>, classifying them into 16 subfamilies, and characterized their structures, chromosomal distributions, and evolutionary dynamics. Promoter and expression analyses highlighted key genes (e.g., <i>AhypNAC23</i>, <i>AhypNAC32</i>, <i>AhypNAC03</i>) with potential roles in stress resilience, providing a basis for genetic engineering and breeding to enhance crop productivity.
