Thanks to its prescriptive and descriptive data model, Golden Record Builder achieves **industry-leading accuracy** while remaining **simple to deploy and operate**. <p><br/></p> # How it Works Golden Record Builder is deployed directly into your Snowflake account with a user interface powered by **Snowflake Container Instances**. The application has no immediate access to data and can only view tables once explicitly granted access. The application supports two core roles: - **Viewer** – may view all data within the application - **Admin** – has Viewer permissions plus the ability to configure connections To set up a connection: - Grant **SELECT** access on the source tables containing customer information - Ensure **USAGE** permissions on the relevant databases and schemas - Set **CHANGE TRACKING = TRUE** on all source tables Once configured, Admins select source tables from the UI. The application automatically categorises attributes, which the user confirms. The data is then processed through a model that returns probabilistic matches. Users can further refine accuracy with **deterministic matching** via the UI. Once training is complete, the model runs across the full dataset, outputting matched golden records into an **entities table** in Snowflake — ready for use in engineering and analytics workflows. The model **continually learns and improves**.
