Abundance and composition of macrolitter and small plastics in Chilean rivers, registered by the Científicos de la Basura citizen science program

Data set generated by means of citizen science, which contains data collected in Chilean rivers in 2013, 2017 and 2021, by means of applying the following samplings: Macrolitter on the riverside Variety of litter on the riverside Litter accumulations on the riverside Floating microlitter Floating macrolitter Identification of litter sources The data set also contains the sampling dates, the names and coordinates of the surveyed rivers, the zone and region where they are located, and the name of the school or the type of volunteers group that conducted each sampling.本数据集依托公民科学项目生成，采集自2013年、2017年及2021年智利境内的河流，所采用的采样方案涵盖以下类别： 1. 河岸大型垃圾（Macrolitter on the riverside） 2. 河岸垃圾多样性（Variety of litter on the riverside） 3. 河岸垃圾堆积量（Litter accumulations on the riverside） 4. 漂浮微垃圾（Floating microlitter） 5. 漂浮大型垃圾（Floating macrolitter） 6. 垃圾来源识别（Identification of litter sources） 本数据集同时收录采样日期、调研河流的名称与坐标、其所在的区域与地带信息，以及执行各次采样的学校名称或志愿者团体类型。
