The catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 has become increasingly attractive for the use of this greenhouse gas as an economical of C1 carbon. Nickel (Ni) is one of the most commonly used catalysts due to its relatively high activity and economic viability compared to the noble metals. With spectroscopic Bragg Coherent X-ray Diffraction Imaging (spectro-BCDI), a state-of the art characterisation tool, we aim to reveal both the structural (lattice strain, defect(s), facets and morphology) and chemical (composition and oxidation states) characteristics of Ni and alloyed Ni-Fe catalysts.

将二氧化碳(CO2)催化加氢用于将该温室气体转化为经济可行的C1碳资源,这一研究方向愈发受到关注。镍(Ni)是最常用的催化剂之一,相较于贵金属,其具备相对较高的催化活性与经济可行性。本研究借助前沿表征技术——光谱布拉格相干X射线衍射成像(spectro-BCDI),旨在揭示镍以及镍铁合金催化剂的结构特性(涵盖晶格应变、缺陷、晶面与形貌)与化学特性(涵盖组分与氧化态)。
