Psychometric Properties of the Bangla Version of the Job Stress Scale (JSS)

The job stress level was assessed using the 13-item Parker and DeCotiis (1983) scale. The two components of job stress that were utilized to measure “job-related feelings of anxiety” (5 items) and “feelings of being under substantial time pressure” (8 items), which were used to quantify job anxiety. This scale had no negative items. Participants typically rate each item on a scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Higher scores correspond to greater degrees of job stress.本研究采用帕克与德科蒂乌斯（Parker and DeCotiis）1983年编制的13条目量表评估工作压力水平。该量表包含两项工作压力维度，分别用于测量“与工作相关的焦虑感受”（共5个条目）与“感受到显著时间压力的状态”（共8个条目），以此量化工作焦虑程度。该量表未设置反向计分条目。参与者通常按照1（完全不同意）至5（完全同意）的计分尺度对每个条目进行评分，得分越高则代表工作压力程度越高。
