Student absenteeism at Technical vocational education and training (TVET) colleges

This study investigated student absenteeism at a TVET college in Pretoria. The rationale of the study was to reduce the recurring absenteeism among students which results in lecturers not completing their work scheduled in time. The study used semi-structured interview to collect data from participants. The study adopted qualitative case study within an interpretivism paradigm.

本研究针对比勒陀利亚一所职业技术教育与培训（TVET）学院的学生缺勤问题展开调查。本研究的动因在于缓解学生频发缺勤的现状——该问题会导致授课教师无法按时完成既定教学工作。研究采用半结构化访谈法收集受访参与者的相关数据，并在解释主义范式下采用质性案例研究方法。
