The BioMassters dataset is a deep learning-ready dataset for predicting annual above-ground biomass (AGB) of forests in Finland. It utilizes multi-temporal satellite imagery from the joint Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellite missions of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Union. Reference data is collected via LiDAR technology and calibrated against in-situ measurements. The dataset contains 13,000 patches, each covering an area of 2560 × 2560 meters. The feature data includes Sentinel-1 SAR and Sentinel-2 MSI data, totaling 310,000 patches, with each patch containing 12 months of data (one image per month).
