Votive inscription dedicated to Pafian Aphrodite

This stone with an inscription was found in secondary use as a building material but it may originally come from the sanctuary of Aphrodite at Palaipafos. The inscription says: To Pafian Aphrodite, Metro who is also known as Sotion and Gaius Julius Ermogenes (dedicated the statue or image) of their son Philip to honour him.该带铭文石材被发现时曾被二次用作建筑材料，但其最初可能源自旧帕福斯（Palaipafos）的阿佛洛狄忒（Aphrodite）圣所。铭文内容如下：敬献给帕福斯的阿佛洛狄忒——又名索提翁（Sotion）的梅特罗（Metro）与盖乌斯·尤里乌斯·厄莫格涅斯（Gaius Julius Ermogenes），为纪念其子腓力（Philip），敬献了其雕像或肖像。
