Daily phytoplankton/chlorophyll concentrations in the Damariscotta River Estuary

Daily changes in phytoplankton concentration in the Damariscotta River are monitored off the dock at the Darling Marine Center, Walpole, Maine. A water sample from the River is taken every day at around 11:15am and analyzed for chlorophyll concentration using a Turner Designs fluorometer.
