De-identified genotype–phenotype dataset for TGFB1 polymorphisms and asthma susceptibility in Egyptian children

This dataset contains de-identified participant-level genotype–phenotype data used in the study entitled “TGFB1 +869T/C Variant Is Associated with Asthma Susceptibility but Not Circulating TGF-β1 Levels in Egyptian Children: Evidence of Genotype–Phenotype Uncoupling”. The dataset includes anonymized demographic, clinical, biochemical, spirometric, and genotyping variables for Egyptian children with bronchial asthma and healthy controls. Variables include study group, age, sex, family history of asthma, smoking exposure, atopy status, asthma severity, serum TGF-β1, serum IgE, FEV1%, TGFB1 −509C/T genotype, and TGFB1 +869T/C genotype. No personally identifiable information is included.
