The RNA-seq data of flower type and flower color of Alcea rosea.First, the molecular mechanism of A. rosea stamen petaloid was studied. Stamen petaloid and non-stamen petaloid red flowers were used as samples. Through illumina sequencing and data analysis, genes closely related to stamen petaloid were obtained. For example, some genes are involved in the synthesis and transduction of auxin, cytokinin, gibberellin, and ethylene, and others are transcription factors. These genes provide important clues for insight into the molecular mechanism of stamen petaloid in A. rosea. Second, we took the white and red single-petaled flowers of A. rosea as samples, and also through illumina sequencing and data analysis, we identified some structural genes and transcription factors related to anthocyanin synthesis, which may be closely related to the formation of white and red flowers of A. rosea. Such as PAL, CHS, F3H, MYB20, hHLH148, WD40, bZIP. These genes provide evidence for revealing the molecular basis of A. rosea flower color formation.
