Cultural Resources Survey of Selected Portions of the Jasper County Airport Tract

"In February 2004, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of 93 hectares of the 476 hectare Jasper County Airport Tract in Jasper County, South Carolina. The project tract lies north and west of private lands, and south and east of SC Route 652 and US Route 278. This survey provides compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning the management of cultural resources in the Coastal Zone of South Carolina.
Archaeologists identified no archaeological sites, no isolated finds, nor any other cultural resources in the survey area. There are no historic properties in or adjacent to the project tract. Further management consideration of the Jasper County Airport Tract with respect to cultural resources is not warranted."
