Exploring FA-Induced Adhesion of In Situ Microalgae-bacteria Biofilms on Carriers from the Perspective of eDNA

This study explores how free ammonia (FA) regulates extracellular DNA (eDNA) secretion in in-situ microalgae-bacteria biofilms. By understanding FA's role in modulating eDNA production, we aim to shed light on its impact on biofilm formation and stability. These insights could inform strategies for managing microbial communities in environmental and biotechnological applications.
