Biology 2050 Lab 3 grassland/ forest, pan trap dataset

Methods : For this lab the data was collected in the grasslands of York University campus as well as around a forest area. In each area 9 pan traps were place ( 3 white, 3 yellow and 3 blue) once placed each was filled approximately halfway with soapy water and was then left for approximately one hour the same was done for the traps in both areas. Afterwards the pans were re-examined and a count of the insects that were caught was taken as well as the amount of diffrent species present. afterwards the traps were emptied and recollected.

实验方法：本次实验的数据采集于约克大学校园草地及周边林区。每个区域均布设9个色盘诱捕器（pan trap），其中白色、黄色、蓝色各3个。诱捕器布设完成后，均注入约半量的肥皂水，随后放置约1小时，两个区域的诱捕器均按此流程操作。随后对诱捕盘进行复检，统计捕获的昆虫数量以及存在的不同物种数量。最后将所有诱捕器清空并回收。
