EDS data of Notocupes spinosus (NIGP174673) and Notocupes daohugouensis (NIGP174675)

This dataset contains the raw energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) data for the holotype of Notocupes spinosus (NIGP174673) and Notocupes daohugouensis (NIGP174675) from the Jurassic Daohugou beds. This dataset is associated with the publication "New species of Notocupes from the Middle Jurassic Daohugou beds, with discussion on the circumscription of the genus" (DOI:10.11646/palaeoentomology.6.4.11). EDS data were obtained with a TESCAN MAIA3 field emission scanning electron microscope. The original OIP project files are provided, which could be opened by the AZtec software. The exported elemental maps in TIF format are also provided.本数据集包含产自侏罗纪道虎沟组的刺棘扁甲（Notocupes spinosus）正模标本（NIGP174673）与道虎沟扁甲（Notocupes daohugouensis）正模标本（NIGP174675）的原始能量色散X射线光谱（energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, EDS）数据。本数据集配套的发表论文为《中侏罗世道虎沟组扁甲属新种兼论该属的分类界定》，DOI：10.11646/palaeoentomology.6.4.11。 本次EDS数据通过TESCAN MAIA3场发射扫描电子显微镜采集。数据集附带可通过AZtec软件打开的原始OIP项目文件，同时还提供了导出为TIF格式的元素面分布图。
