MODEX - Processed Wave-Only Series Data

We mounted a 1.5 m diameter and 0.2 m height Gaussian shaped sand mound at the center of the flume (12 m length and 6 m width), and generated waves, currents, and combined wave-currents. Three wave-only series, two current-only series, and four combined wave-current series were carried out and we got different mound diffusion with respect to different hydrodynamic forcing conditions. The data in this repository is for two wave-only series. For more detail about the experiment configuration and instruments, please see Related Work and paper attached by de Schipper et al (2019).

我们在长12 m、宽6 m的水槽中央搭建了一个直径1.5 m、高度0.2 m的高斯型沙堆，并开展了波浪、单向流以及波浪-潮流联合作用的实验。本次实验共开展3组纯波浪工况、2组纯单向流工况与4组波浪-潮流联合工况，结果显示不同水动力强迫条件下沙堆的扩散特征存在差异。本数据集仅包含2组纯波浪工况的实验数据。如需了解实验配置与观测仪器的更多细节，请参阅de Schipper等人2019年发表的相关研究及附件论文。
