This dataset contains one-port S-parameter (S11) measurements and analysis artifacts for a shorted WR-90 waveguide cavity with an adjustable piston. Selected runs exhibit a reproducible, position-locked interference notch whose Smith-chart trajectory grazes the origin (near-complete cancellation). All claims are Maxwell-compatible and framed in terms of a local scattering zero (“dark state”) at the port level; broader interpretive context is reserved for the associated manuscript’s Discussion.We provide: (i) raw VNA sweeps (magnitude/phase) with metadata; (ii) processed tables for the fixed ±300 kHz window showing the area–phase equality ∣A∣≈∣Δϕ_ex∣across sweep direction and IF bandwidth; (iii) peak group delay τ_pk, center frequency f_⋆, FWHM, and the delay-based narrowness metric Q_τ=πf_⋆ τ_pk; (iv) complex-plane one-pole circle fits with residual RMS normalized by the empirical complex-noise scale σ_Γ(values ≈1–2× indicate noise-limited fits); and (v) scripts/notebooks to regenerate the figures and tables.Absolute reflection depths near the minimum are reported as indicative and bounded (we state ∣Γ∣_min≲max{∣Γ∣_min^," " 5σ_Γ}); the key results are the processing-invariant diagnostics and noise-limited residuals.
