This study examines the relationship between the number of insects and it's habitat setting Methods:-Transects were used to measure 25 metres in both woodlot and grassland settings-10 trials were carried out for each habitat, using sweep nets to capture insects-Data was recorded in an Excel spreadsheet and uploaded to FigshareHypothesis:There is a correlation between number of insects and habitat setting. Prediction:There is a correlation between the number of insects and habitat setting due to the amount of flowers present. If there are more flowers present in an area, there will be more insects present as well, as flowers provide many benefits such as protection. Metadata:-In the grassland setting, the transect was placed in an area with an abundance of plants-In the woodlot setting, the transect was placed in an area with few plants-One individual was responsible for capturing the insects using the sweep nets for each habitat setting-One individual was responsible for counting the amount of insects captured and the different number of species -Number of insects: The total number of insects present in the sweep net-Number of insect species: The different number of insect species present in the sweep net
