资源简介:
This data set includes collections of vertebrate fossils, replicas, and their contextual data. Included within the data set are chondricthyans, teleosts, reptiles, and avian remains. Within the reptiles, dinosaurs, mosasaurs, and plesiosaurs are represented. Most specimens are isolated elements, but some associated material is present. All specimens were collected from the Late Cretaceous (Campanian-Maastrichtian) sedimentary rocks exposed in the James Ross Basin east of the Antarctic Peninsula. Fossil specimens were derived from the Lopez de Bertodano and Snow Hill Island formations on James Ross and Vega islands.
