资源简介:
The Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences MAGIC Lab was inaugurated in 2014 through generous support from the Kerr Fund, Simons Foundation International, Vetlesen Foundation and FIL Foundation. Gliders are small, free-swimming, unmanned vehicles that use changes in buoyancy to move vertically and horizontally through the water column in a saw-tooth pattern. They are deployed for days to several months and gather detailed information about the physical, chemical and biological processes of the world\'s oceans. The Slocum glider was designed and built by Teledyne Webb Research Corporation, Falmouth, MA, USA. This dataset contains observational sub-surface profile data of the water-column.cdm_data_type = TrajectoryProfileVARIABLES:trajectory (Trajectory Name)wmo_idtime (Profile Time, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)latitude (Profile Latitude, degrees_north)longitude (Profile Longitude, degrees_east)profile_idtime_uv (Depth-averaged Time, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)lat_uv (Depth-averaged Latitude, degrees_north)lon_uv (Depth-averaged Longitude, degrees_east)u (Depth-averaged Eastward Sea Water Velocity, m s-1)v (Depth-averaged Northward Sea Water Velocity, m s-1)latitude_qc (latitude Variable Quality Flag)longitude_qc (longitude Variable Quality Flag)time_qc (time Variable Quality Flag)depth (m)depth_qc (depth Variable Quality Flag)pressure (Sea Water Pressure, decibars)pressure_qc (pressure Variable Quality Flag)conductivity (Sea Water Electrical Conductivity, S.m-1)conductivity_qc (conductivity Variable Quality Flag)... (19 more variables)
