Atmospheric and marine CO2 and CH4 in the marine boundary layer were monitored from August 31 to September 19 by the GC 7890A along the cruise track of R/V Araon from Barrow, U.S.A., to Nome, U.S.A., carrying out an expedition in The Chukchi Sea and East Siberian Sea. The air inlet to the instrument was located at 29 m asl and the sea water inlet was located at 7m depth.
