本数据集包括中亚11个树轮宽度序列和树轮年表。选择人为活动及自然灾害影响小的地区,宜选择土层较薄、坡度较陡、树龄较长、年轮清晰的针叶树种;使用生长锥在距离地面1.3m左右钻取树芯样本。共采集275棵柏树的555根树芯,经自然风干后使用白乳胶固定在特质木槽中,并砂纸打磨至清晰。使用Velmex测量系统测量树轮宽度。使用COFECHA程序进行交叉定年,最终建立树轮宽度序列。基于16个中亚低海拔山区树木年轮年代学数据,研究了中亚低海拔山区Juniperus seravschanica生长与气候因子的关系,并利用所建立的模型预测了21世纪中亚低海拔山区Juniperus seravschanica生长的变化。研究区Juniperus seravschanica生长主要受降水控制,而降水主要受热带海面温度的影响。在近期温暖期,降水的增加和温暖的温度共同促进了Juniperus seravschanica的生长。
This dataset contains 11 tree-ring width series and tree-ring chronologies from Central Asia. Sample sites were selected in areas with minimal anthropogenic and natural disturbance, preferring coniferous tree species with thin soil layers, steep slopes, long lifespans and distinct tree rings. Tree cores were extracted at approximately 1.3 m above the ground using an increment borer. A total of 555 tree cores were collected from 275 cypress individuals. After natural air-drying, the cores were fixed in custom-made wooden troughs with white latex and sanded until the tree rings became clearly visible. Tree-ring widths were measured using the Velmex measuring system. Cross-dating was performed with the COFECHA program, and final tree-ring width series were established. Based on 16 tree-ring chronology datasets from low-elevation mountainous areas of Central Asia, the relationships between the growth of Juniperus seravschanica and climatic factors in these regions were analyzed, and the growth changes of Juniperus seravschanica in the low-elevation mountains of Central Asia during the 21st century were predicted using the developed models. The growth of Juniperus seravschanica in the study areas is primarily controlled by precipitation, which is mainly influenced by tropical sea surface temperatures. In the recent warm period, increased precipitation and elevated temperatures have jointly promoted the growth of Juniperus seravschanica.
