This study provides a comprehensive exploration of the transcriptional changes between a pepper line with recessive resistance (bs5) and a susceptible cultivar (ECW) in response to infection with a P6 strain of Xe. By studying the transcriptomic aspects of these contrasting responses, our goal is to explore the molecular mechanisms governing the interaction between peppers and Xe and determine key pathways linked to disease resistance.
