TRIPLE IceCraft NM Salinity Metadata

Before diving into the metadata, please refer to the description of the IceCraft system and the TRIPLE project. The metadata uploaded here accompanies the variation of salinity with depth. The salinity was measured using a conductivity meter. As the salinity of water increases, so as the conductivity of water. The conductivity meter was immersed in water to measure how easily electrical current flows through it. The conductivity values are converted into salinity using established empirical formulas, as can be found here. The measurement was performed continuously on the water produced by melting ice, as the IceCraft was moving downwards. During the mission, no anomaly was observed regarding the measurement. The SOPs followed during the measurements can be found here. These salinity measurements can be used to calculate the ice porosity using empirical formulas as found here. keywords: Salinity, Porosity
在查阅元数据(metadata)之前,请先参阅IceCraft系统与TRIPLE项目的相关说明。 此处上传的元数据对应盐度随深度的变化情况。本次盐度测量采用电导仪完成:水体盐度越高,其电导率亦随之升高。该电导仪浸入水体后,可检测电流在水中的导通难易程度。所得电导率数值将通过已确立的经验公式换算为盐度,具体公式可参见此处。 当IceCraft向下行进时,测量工作持续针对融冰生成的水体开展。任务期间,未观测到该测量环节存在任何异常。测量过程中遵循的标准作业程序(Standard Operating Procedure, SOP)可参见此处。 借助此处所列的经验公式,可基于本次盐度测量数据计算冰体孔隙率。 关键词:盐度、孔隙率
