Mycoplasma hominis is an opportunistic pathogen, which typically associated with urogenital tract or neonatal infections. Recently, some M. hominis extragenital infection cases of adults have been reported, but most cases are related to postoperative site infections or associated with immunocompromised patients, case of pleuropneumonia in immunocompetent adults is rare and therefore easily overlooked. Here ,we report a 47-year-old male who has M. hominis infection of pleural space and lung.
