Confusion de codes graphiques dans les papyrus latins

This study aims to show how the Greek and the Latin scripts have been in contact in Egypt during the Roman period. We study the confusions of graphic codes, especially the alphabet-switching, in Latin papyri, comparing them with the same phenomenon which appears in the inscriptions throughout the Roman world. We try to understand whether this feature is motivated by phonetic confusions or is to be interpreted as an intentional graphic «mistake».

本研究旨在揭示罗马时期埃及境内希腊文字与拉丁文字的接触态势。我们针对拉丁文纸莎草文书中的文字符号体系混淆现象——尤其是字母系统转用问题——展开研究，并将该现象与整个罗马世界范围内铭文所呈现的同类现象进行对比分析。本研究试图探究此类特征究竟源于语音混淆，还是可被解读为有意为之的文字「失误」。
