Long-read whole genome sequencing reveals novel structural variation markers for important agronomic and quality traits of soybean

In this project, our main objective was to deeply assess the presence, distribution, and phenotypic effects of large-scale structural variants in soybean genotypes. To achieve this goal, we applied Oxford Nanopore Long-Read Sequencing Technology (ONT) to sequence 29 representative genotypes of both grain-type soybean and vegetable soybean (edamame) .
