The study evaluated the antifungal efficacy of microwave and chemo-microwave disinfection with NaOCl, CHX, and H₂O₂. PMMA samples colonized with <i>C. albicans</i> ATCC 14053 were exposed to microwave irradiation for 1 or 3 minutes, either dry or in water or in disinfectant solutions. Efficacy was determined by colony counts after 48 hours of culture and by absorbance measurements following biofilm staining with crystal violet
