This is a script to select ORFs with no overlapping transcriptional unit (on the same strand) 275 nt downstream the PAS. Transcription units were excluded when their PAS overlapped with a region from 250 nt upstream to 500 nt downstream of overlapping genes’ PAS.

本脚本用于筛选满足以下条件的开放阅读框（Open Reading Frames，ORFs）：在同一链上，其多腺苷酸化信号位点（Polyadenylation Signal，PAS）下游275个核苷酸（nucleotide，nt）范围内不存在重叠的转录单元（Transcriptional Unit）。若某转录单元的PAS与重叠基因的PAS上游250 nt至下游500 nt的区域存在重叠，则该转录单元将被排除。
