Contributions to Jupiter's Gravity Field from Dynamics in the Dynamo Region

We derive physically motivated dynamo zonal flow profiles and calculate their associated gravity harmonics (J2-J10). The dynamo zonal flow profiles with RMS velocities of 10 cm/s are shown for (a, b) simple polynomial and (c, d) minimal Ohmic dissipation models of the poloidal magnetic field. The zonal gravity harmonics for each flow profile are tabulated and compared to the gravity harmonics produced by ~3000 km deep atmospheric zonal flow (Kaspi et al., 2018) and the odd gravity harmonics measured by Juno (Iess et al., 2018). The gravity harmonics that the dynamo region significantly contributes to are highlighted in red.
