A comparative study on emotional maturity among college students of Jalgaon district.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between girls and boys on Emotional maturity. Emotional maturity involves an individual’s adjustment skill, knowledge about self, and strategies to control self. The Emotional Maturity Scale (Yashvir Singh & Mahesh Bhargava) is used to measure emotional maturity of participants. The sample comprised of 100 students (50 Girls and 50 Boys) from Jalgaon district. Emotional Maturity Scale by Singh and Bhargava Scales were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by ‘t’ test. The results discovered that there is no statistically significant difference between girls and boys. It was also noticed that there is no statistically significant difference for emotional maturity between urban and rural students.

本研究旨在探究男女生在情绪成熟度上的差异情况。情绪成熟度涵盖个体的适应能力、自我认知水平以及自我调控策略。本研究采用由Yashvir Singh与Mahesh Bhargava编制的情绪成熟度量表（Emotional Maturity Scale）对被试的情绪成熟度进行测评。研究样本取自贾尔冈区的100名学生，其中男、女生各50名。数据收集环节使用该情绪成熟度量表完成，数据分析采用t检验方法。研究结果显示，男女生在情绪成熟度上不存在统计学意义上的显著差异；同时还发现，城市与农村学生在情绪成熟度方面同样无统计学显著差异。
