Dataset to reproduce figures in "Elliptical Core Multimode Fibers for Reduced DSP Complexity in Coherent Optical Transmission"

The uploaded file is the dataset for our manuscript titled "Elliptical Core Multimode Fibers for Reduced DSP Complexity in Coherent Optical Transmission", which is submitted for publication in the Journal of Lightwave Technology 2025. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of elliptical core fibers using the vector finite difference mode solver. MATLAB software is used to conduct the extensive numerical simulations discussed in the manuscript. The uploaded data can be used to replot all the figures in the submitted manuscript. The manuscript discusses the reduction in differential mode delay, intra-mode group crosstalk, and equalization complexity with ovality.本上传文件为我们提交至《光波技术学报（Journal of Lightwave Technology）》2025年刊的论文《用于降低相干光传输中数字信号处理（DSP）复杂度的椭圆芯多模光纤》的配套数据集。本研究采用矢量有限差分模式求解器对椭圆芯光纤的特性展开分析，并依托MATLAB软件完成了论文中提及的全部大规模数值仿真实验。本次上传的数据集可用于复现投稿论文中的所有图表。本论文探讨了椭圆度对差分模时延、模内群串扰以及均衡复杂度的降低作用。
